RE: Need advice on moving from 1500 Silv HD to 1500 Yukon XL

I had an 05' 1500HD and I agree, it's a gas hog. We purchased an 07' F250 PSD and it's a world of differnce. But since you need more room have you taken a look at the new Toyota Sequioa's? The have a 5.7 engine with trip tronic trans, 10k lb tow cap, and are pretty well equiped. Well worth a look. My wife loves hers and it makes a great tow vehicle. Good luck.
RE: Fresh water tank problems!!!
On our first trip out with the TH, I thought the water tank was topped off so you can imagine we ran out of water the 2nd day in the dez. I soon figured out why, I filled it when the TH was at a slope or leaning to the driver side so I did the oposite and now I feel better about myself.:S
RE: WW Mod Your Couch?
Thanks spooner55, I already showed the DW and this is on my honeydew list for this weekend. Right now my Yamaha is in there and I certainly don't want the couch falling on it. I'll post the pics along with the flat panel install I did a couple of weeks ago once I figure out how to post pics:h
RE: WW Mod Your Couch?
Thanks for the pics for this mod. It will have to be my next one. Last couple of trips ago the latch popped open and the couch fell on my scooters. DW wasn't very happy.
Flat Panel Install???
Ok guys. I need some help on this one. I finally picked up the TV/DVD combo Flat Panel with the mounting bracket but I need some ideas and pics (would help) of some of your mods? I have the WW SL2805. Thanks for your input.
RE: Will the Ford Super Duty Survive?
Long live the Superduty! If Ford puts a diesel in the F150 I'm sure it will be a great truck but it's not a HD truck.
RE: Weekend Warrior Company Condition?
I hope WW gets through this and comes back with a bang! No matter what, I'm happy we purchased a WW and have no regrets.
RE: All 1500HD owners or previous owners chime in
I had an 05' 1500HD 2x4 6.0 with 4.10 gears with all the trimmings and it did ok towing my 5'er. The truck was fine but the gas mileage was pretty bad. I was averaging 9 - 11mpgs and 6 - 8 mpgs towing and it also struggled going up hill. I traded up to an 07' F250 PSD.
RE: WW top bunk safety
I hope your son has a speedy recovery. My son sleeps on the bottom bunk and since we have 3 gear bags I line them up along the bed and it's worked so far. Plan "B" would be a tie down:B
